Front Desk Bouncer — Legal

Privacy

This page describes, factually, what information the Front Desk Bouncer platform holds and in what role.

Two different roles

As a product, we hold the accounts and settings of the businesses that use Front Desk Bouncer, and the records needed to operate and secure the service.

On behalf of a business, the platform stores the information that business records about its own clients. The business decides what is collected, why, and for how long. For questions about your own record as a client, contact the business you deal with.

What the platform holds

  • Business operator accounts and authentication data
  • Business configuration: opening hours, services, prices, tax settings
  • Client records created by a business
  • Appointments and scheduling data
  • Payments, receipts and financial records
  • Applications submitted to a business, where that business runs applications
  • Transactional email records: what was sent, to which address, and its delivery outcome
  • Security and audit records of privileged actions

Isolation between businesses

Each business’s data is scoped to that business and enforced at the database level. One business cannot read another’s clients, appointments or financial records.

Retention

Financial records are append-only and retained for the periods required by the applicable accounting law of the business, including after an account is closed. Other records are kept while they are needed to operate the service.

Processors

A verified list of the third parties that process data on our behalf — hosting, database and email delivery — has not yet been published here. We will not name processors before that list is confirmed. Until then, ask us directly and we will tell you.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages of this site load no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party embeds. The only browser storage used is what is strictly necessary to keep a signed-in session working.
